WHY IS HYDROCARBON-FREE NITROGEN IMPORTANT?
A hydrocarbon separator improves the gas quality considerably. This is very important e.g. for GC analysis. The separator ensures high-purity output gas (99.9999 % or 6.0 degrees) with a residual moisture content of 0.05 ppm and thus ensures reliable analysis.
Separators are an essential part of GC analysis, as impurities in gases can significantly affect the quality of the results. Hydrocarbons can cause problems such as background noise, altered peak shapes, false positive results or poorer consumption efficiency.
With our optional hydrocarbon separator, you can actively counteract this.
Nitrogen generators with PSA technology for your analytical applications
PSA technology is the ideal method for high purity levels and is used in our (U)HP1A and (U)HP2A models.
Pressure swing adsorption (PSA) separates nitrogen molecules from oxygen molecules by adsorbing the oxygen from the compressed air stream. Adsorption occurs when molecules bind to an adsorbent.
Efficient nitrogen capture ensures reduced overall air demand while ensuring the production of high purity nitrogen. The result is lower real operating costs and a reduced carbon footprint.
Thanks to its compact dimensions, the Nitrogen Generator can be installed under the workbench to save space.
